GymAdapt AI ("we," "us") makes a workout-tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email info@gymadapt.com.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (handled by Amazon Cognito). If you sign in with Apple or Facebook, we receive your name and email from that provider.
• Training data. Workouts, sets, weights, plans, routines, history, and preferences you enter. This is stored on your device and, when you are signed in, synced to our servers so you can recover it across devices.
• Health data. With your permission, the app can read and write your body-weight from Apple Health (HealthKit) to display and sync your weight. We never use Apple Health data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own use.
• Photos you choose to import. If you import a photo of a workout, the image is sent to our AI service to read the numbers and is not retained afterward or used to train models.
• AI coaching context. To generate plans, exercise swaps, insights, and chat responses, a summary of your training history is sent to our AI provider (Amazon Bedrock) for processing.
• Diagnostics. We collect crash and error reports (via Sentry), which include device model, operating-system version, and app version, to keep the app stable.
• Community content (optional). If you use community features, your profile, posts, follows, and leaderboard entries are stored and may be visible to other users.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and personalize the app, generate AI coaching, sync your data across devices, keep the app reliable, operate community features you opt into, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Amazon Bedrock (AI processing), and Sentry (crash reporting). If you choose Apple or Facebook sign-in, those providers handle your authentication. Content you post in community features is visible to other users. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile/Settings), which removes your account and associated server-stored data. You can also email info@gymadapt.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

GymAdapt AI is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
